In Bettiah district, 124 police sergeants have been promoted to the rank of sub-inspector. During a simple ceremony held at the Police Lines, SSP Kumar Gautam honored all the promoted police officers by affixing stars to their uniforms. On this occasion, the SSP urged the newly promoted officers to diligently fulfill their new responsibilities and provided them with detailed information about their roles and duties corresponding to their new ranks.

SSP Kumar Gautam highlighted that with the promotion, the responsibilities of the police personnel have also increased. Their role will now be crucial in maintaining law and order, controlling crime, improving the quality of investigations, and ensuring better public relations. Encouraging the promoted officers, he stated that this is a significant milestone in their service career and an opportunity to advance their duties and responsibilities.
