Nabinagar: A 30-day training program for members of the Dalpati and Gram Raksha Dal has commenced in Nabinagar, organized under the aegis of the Bihar State Dalpati/Gram Raksha Dal Mahasangh. The inauguration ceremony, held at Bablu Chanda near Basan Bigha Morh, saw the participation of various public representatives. Among them were Archana Chand Yadav, Women District President of Jansuraj Party; Naresh Paswan, State Secretary of Mukhiya Sangh; and Mukhiyas Amod Chandravanshi and Sanjit Kumar Yadav, who lit lamps and cut ribbons to mark the opening of the training camp.

The training camp was presided over by Mrityunjay Kumar, Block President of Gram Raksha Dal, while Rakesh Kumar, an active member of Jansuraj, conducted the proceedings. Organizers stated that the primary objective of this 30-day training is to enhance the skills and capabilities of Gram Raksha Dal members in the fields of rural security and public service.

According to Mahasangh officials, the training curriculum will cover crucial subjects such as disaster management, first aid, social security, cooperation in law and order, and community awareness. The training will be held daily, excluding government holidays, and participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded certificates. Ravindra Kumar, District President of Mahasangh, emphasized that the training will boost the operational efficiency of Gram Raksha Dal members, strengthening security and public service efforts in rural areas. He highlighted their crucial role as a link between society and administration, enabling trained members to perform better during disasters and emergencies at the panchayat level. Archana Chand Yadav noted that the long-standing demand for training and rights for Dalpati and Gram Raksha Dal members is now yielding positive results.
