Bihar Police achieved a significant success as notorious bandit Dhalu, carrying a reward of 50,000 rupees, was killed in a police encounter. The incident occurred when a police team arrived to apprehend Dhalu. According to police, Dhalu opened fire on the police, who retaliated, resulting in Dhalu being shot directly in the chest and dying on the spot.

Dhalu was wanted in numerous serious criminal cases, including dacoity, robbery, and attempted murder. A reward of 50,000 rupees had been announced for his capture, and police had been actively searching for him for a long time. Police officials stated that Dhalu, along with his gang, had committed several major crimes, creating an atmosphere of fear among the local population.

Following the encounter, police recovered weapons and cartridges from the scene. This operation is expected to curb crime in the area. The Director-General of Police praised the team for their success and affirmed that such actions against criminals would continue. He also reiterated that lawbreakers would not be spared at any cost. Dhalu's death is a major blow to his gang, and police are now searching for his remaining associates. Additional police forces have been deployed in the area to maintain peace and security.
