दो पक्की सड़कों के बीच फंसा आदर्श नगर, 200 मीटर नाला-पीसीसी नहीं बनने से जलजमाव

सीतामढ़ी नगर में जलनिकासी की समस्या को लेकर बनाए जा रहे नाला और पीसीसी (पोर्टलैंड सीमेंट कंक्रीट) के निर्माण स्थलों पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं। आदर्श नगर मोहल्ले में मात्र 200 मीटर पीसीसी और नाले का निर्माण न होने से यहां के निवासियों को भीषण जलजमाव और कीचड़ का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। यह मोहल्ला नगर के जलजमाव वाले क्षेत्रों के बीच एक बफर जोन में स्थित है, जिसके चारों ओर अन्य मोहल्ले हैं।
आदर्श नगर के आसपास के सभी मोहल्लों में नाला और पीसीसी का निर्माण हो चुका है। हैरानी की बात यह है कि जिन मोहल्लों में जलजमाव की समस्या नहीं है, वहां भी पुराने हो चुके पीसीसी और नालों को तोड़कर नए सिरे से निर्माण किया गया है, जबकि आदर्श नगर को भगवान भरोसे छोड़ दिया गया है। स्थानीय निवासियों ने इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए नगर निगम और जनप्रतिनिधियों से बार-बार आग्रह किया है, लेकिन अब तक इस क्षेत्र में जलनिकासी और पक्की सड़क की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं की गई है।
आदर्श नगर निगम के उन बफर मोहल्लों में से है जहां सड़क और जलनिकासी की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं है। इस मोहल्ले के लोगों को मुख्य सड़क तक पहुंचने के लिए भी दूसरे मोहल्लों से होकर गुजरना पड़ता है। प्रताप नगर और उर्दू मोहल्ले में पीसीसी सड़कें बनी हुई हैं, और शाहिन गली में जलजमाव न होने के बावजूद पुराने नाले का निर्माण किया गया है। प्रताप नगर और शाहिन गली में बने पीसीसी और नाले के बीच केवल 200 मीटर में आदर्श नगर मोहल्ला स्थित है, जिसे इस सुविधा से वंचित रखा गया है।
आदर्श नगर निवासी रवि कुमार, अविनाश सिंह, अनिल कुमार आदि ने बताया कि मोहल्ले में न तो अब तक पीसीसी सड़क बनी है और न ही नाला। उन्होंने कहा कि निगम यहां की स्थिति से अनभिज्ञ नहीं है और कई बार प्रतिनिधियों को भी इस संबंध में जानकारी दी गई है, लेकिन वे केवल टालमटोल करते हैं। स्थिति यह है कि जलजमाव और कीचड़ के कारण वाहन मोहल्ले में नहीं पहुंच पाते हैं और लोगों को अपनी बाइक मोहल्ले से बाहर ही खड़ी करनी पड़ती है। प्रतिदिन पानी और कीचड़ से होकर दैनिक कार्यों के लिए बाहर निकलना पड़ता है। नगर निगम आयुक्त डॉ. गजेंद्र प्रसाद सिंह ने कहा कि मोहल्ले की स्थिति संज्ञान में है और जल्द ही समस्या का समाधान किया जाएगा।
Questions are being raised regarding the construction sites of drains and PCC (Portland Cement Concrete) being built to address waterlogging in Sitamarhi city. In Adarsh Nagar mohalla, the lack of just 200 meters of PCC and drain construction has led to severe waterlogging and mud, increasing the difficulties for residents. This mohalla is situated in a buffer zone amidst waterlogged areas of the city, surrounded by other localities.
All neighboring mohallas around Adarsh Nagar have completed drain and PCC construction. Surprisingly, even in areas without waterlogging issues, old PCC roads and drains have been demolished and rebuilt, while Adarsh Nagar has been left to its fate. Local residents have repeatedly urged the municipal corporation and public representatives to resolve this problem, but so far, no arrangements for drainage or paved roads have been made in this area.
Adarsh Nagar is one of those buffer mohallas of the municipal corporation where there are no provisions for roads or drainage. Residents of this locality have to pass through other mohallas to reach the main road. PCC roads are built in Pratap Nagar and Urdu mohallas, and even in Shahin Gali, where there is no waterlogging, an old drain has been reconstructed. Adarsh Nagar mohalla, spanning just 200 meters between the PCC and drains built in Pratap Nagar and Shahin Gali, has been deprived of these facilities.
Adarsh Nagar residents Ravi Kumar, Avinash Singh, Anil Kumar, and others stated that neither a PCC road nor a drain has been constructed in the mohalla. They added that the corporation is well aware of the situation, and public representatives have been informed multiple times, but they only give evasive answers. The situation is such that vehicles cannot enter the mohalla due to waterlogging and mud, forcing residents to park their bikes outside. They have to wade through water and mud daily for their routines. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Gajendra Prasad Singh stated that the mohalla's condition is being looked into and the problem will be resolved soon.
