Amarjeet Kumar, a resident of Gamharia village under Baijnathpur Panchayat in Saur Bazar block of Saharsa district, has been selected as an Agniveer in the Indian Army. After successfully completing seven months of rigorous training, Amarjeet returned to his village to a grand welcome. Villagers and family members garlanded him with flowers and took out a procession with drums and traditional music throughout the village. The entire village was in a festive mood, celebrating Amarjeet's homecoming.

Amarjeet's selection has brought immense joy not only to his family but also to the entire village and block. Family members shared that Amarjeet achieved this milestone through his hard work and dedication. His parents expressed their pride in their son, who chose the path of serving the nation. Amarjeet also inspired the youth of his village to join the army and serve the country, stating that any goal can be achieved through discipline and hard work.
