In a significant crackdown on illegal liquor trade, Akbarpur police in Nawada district destroyed 880 liters of seized Mahua liquor on Saturday. This action was carried out under the directives of senior officials, with the presence of Akbarpur Circle Officer and Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Prasad.

Station House Officer Surendra Kumar stated that the liquor was destroyed as per rules in the presence of the Magistrate. He further emphasized that police action against illegal manufacturing, sale, and smuggling of liquor will continue relentlessly. Anyone involved in this illicit business will not be spared and will face strict action as per the law. The police are continuously working to curb the illegal liquor trade to maintain peace and order in the region.
