पुलिस के अनुसार, अमौर थाना कांड संख्या 475/26 के तहत 22 अक्टूबर 2026 को भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 331(4)/305(3) के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया था। पूर्णिया के पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देश और बायसी अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी के मार्गदर्शन में अमौर थानाध्यक्ष के नेतृत्व में एक विशेष छापेमारी टीम का गठन किया गया था।
तकनीकी और स्थानीय सूचनाओं के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए, टीम ने 28 अक्टूबर 2026 को छापेमारी की और दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों की पहचान सद्दाम (24), पिता जाहिद, निवासी मिल्की कासिम चौक, वार्ड नंबर 12, अमौर और सबा नस्तर (24), पिता स्वर्गीय गयास नस्तर, निवासी मिल्की नगर, वार्ड नंबर 12, अमौर, जिला पूर्णिया के रूप में हुई है।
इस गिरफ्तारी अभियान में अमौर थानाध्यक्ष के साथ पुलिस अधिकारी भागीरथ कुमार, नुपुर कुमारी, कुमकुम कुमारी, पंकज कुमार और अमौर थाना के सशस्त्र बल भी शामिल थे। पुलिस ने बताया है कि गिरफ्तार आरोपियों के खिलाफ आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है और मामले की विस्तृत जांच जारी है।

Acting on technical and local intelligence, the team conducted a raid on October 28, 2026, and apprehended the two accused. The arrested individuals have been identified as Saddam (24), son of Zahid, resident of Milki Qasim Chowk, Ward No. 12, Amaur, and Saba Nastar (24), son of the late Gyas Nastar, resident of Milki Nagar, Ward No. 12, Amaur, Purnia district.
The operation involved the Amaur SHO along with police officers Bhagirath Kumar, Nupur Kumari, Kumkum Kumari, Pankaj Kumar, and armed personnel from Amaur Police Station. Police stated that legal proceedings are underway against the accused, and further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
