अररिया जिले में एक हृदय विदारक सड़क हादसा हुआ है, जिसमें एक पिता की अपने बेटे के सामने ही मौत हो गई। घटना सोमवार की देर रात तब हुई जब पिता-पुत्र एक बाइक पर सवार होकर इलाज के लिए जा रहे थे। प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, अररिया-पूर्णिया फोरलेन पर तेज रफ्तार दो बाइकों की आमने-सामने की टक्कर हो गई। यह हादसा इतना भीषण था कि एक बाइक पर सवार पिता ने मौके पर ही दम तोड़ दिया, जबकि उनका बेटा गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।
मृतक की पहचान 50 वर्षीय मोहम्मद जलील के रूप में हुई है, जो अररिया के पलासी थाना क्षेत्र के तरौना गांव के रहने वाले थे। उनका बेटा मोहम्मद हसीब (22) इस दुर्घटना में गंभीर रूप से घायल हुआ है। बताया जा रहा है कि जलील अपने बेटे हसीब के साथ बाइक पर सवार होकर किसी बीमारी के इलाज के लिए जा रहे थे। रास्ते में अररिया-पूर्णिया फोरलेन पर उनकी बाइक की टक्कर विपरीत दिशा से आ रही एक अन्य तेज रफ्तार बाइक से हो गई।
टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि मोहम्मद जलील बाइक से उछलकर सड़क पर जा गिरे और उनकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। वहीं, उनका बेटा हसीब गंभीर रूप से जख्मी हो गया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए अररिया सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया है। घायल हसीब को भी तत्काल सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसकी गंभीर स्थिति को देखते हुए बेहतर इलाज के लिए रेफर कर दिया गया है।
इस घटना के बाद तरौना गांव में शोक का माहौल है। परिजनों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है। पुलिस ने दुर्घटनाग्रस्त दोनों बाइकों को जब्त कर लिया है और मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्रारंभिक जांच में तेज रफ्तार को ही हादसे की मुख्य वजह बताया जा रहा है।

According to reports, two high-speed motorcycles collided head-on on the Araria-Purnia four-lane highway. The collision was so severe that the father, identified as 50-year-old Mohammad Jalil, a resident of Tarauna village under Palasi police station in Araria, died on the spot. His son, 22-year-old Mohammad Haseeb, sustained serious injuries.
Mohammad Jalil was reportedly en route for treatment with his son Haseeb when the accident took place. Their bike collided with another speeding motorcycle coming from the opposite direction on the Araria-Purnia four-lane road. The impact was so powerful that Mohammad Jalil was thrown from the bike and died instantly. His son Haseeb was severely injured.
Upon receiving information, local police arrived at the scene. They took custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination at Araria Sadar Hospital. The injured Haseeb was admitted to Sadar Hospital, where, after initial treatment, he was referred for better medical care due to his critical condition. The incident has cast a pall of grief over Tarauna village. The police have seized both damaged motorcycles and initiated an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that high speed was the primary cause of the accident.
