A tragic road accident occurred in Mohania, Kaimur district, on Wednesday, where an uncontrolled auto-rickshaw overturned, resulting in the spot death of one youth and serious injuries to two others. The incident took place near Dadar village on the national highway, falling under the Mohania police station area.

According to eyewitnesses, the auto-rickshaw carrying passengers was traveling from Mohania towards Dadar. Near Dadar village, the auto suddenly lost control and overturned on the roadside. Passengers were trapped inside the overturned vehicle. With the help of local residents, the injured were pulled out. One youth succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The identity of the deceased has not yet been established.

The injured were immediately taken to Mohania Sub-Divisional Hospital. After initial treatment, given their serious condition, they have been referred to Varanasi for better medical care. Police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. The auto-rickshaw has also been seized. Police are investigating the matter and attempting to identify the deceased youth. Traffic on the national highway was briefly disrupted following the incident but was later normalized by the police.
