बक्सर जिले के चौसा प्रखंड स्थित बख्खो टोल उर्दू मध्य विद्यालय के प्रस्तावित स्थानांतरण का स्थानीय लोगों और जनप्रतिनिधियों द्वारा पुरजोर विरोध किया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में पंचायत समिति सदस्य संतोष कुमार पासवान ने प्रखंड शिक्षा पदाधिकारी को एक ज्ञापन सौंपकर इस स्थानांतरण को रोकने की मांग की है। ज्ञापन में बताया गया है कि बख्खो टोल उर्दू मध्य विद्यालय की स्थापना 1952 में हुई थी और यह अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा का एक महत्वपूर्ण केंद्र रहा है।
संतोष कुमार पासवान ने अपने ज्ञापन में यह भी उल्लेख किया है कि विद्यालय के भवन निर्माण के लिए भूमि दान में दी गई थी और इसका उद्देश्य अल्पसंख्यक बच्चों को शिक्षा प्रदान करना था। उन्होंने आशंका व्यक्त की है कि यदि विद्यालय को वर्तमान स्थल से स्थानांतरित किया जाता है, तो अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के बच्चों की शिक्षा बाधित होगी और वे मुख्यधारा से कट जाएंगे। उन्होंने इस बात पर भी जोर दिया कि विद्यालय का वर्तमान स्थान बच्चों के लिए सुरक्षित और सुलभ है, जबकि किसी अन्य स्थान पर स्थानांतरण से उन्हें कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ेगा।
स्थानीय लोगों और अभिभावकों का कहना है कि विद्यालय के स्थानांतरण का निर्णय बिना किसी जनसुनवाई या स्थानीय प्रतिनिधियों से परामर्श के लिया गया है। उनका मानना है कि यह कदम शिक्षा के अधिकार का उल्लंघन है और इससे गरीब तथा अल्पसंख्यक बच्चों का भविष्य अंधकारमय हो सकता है। पंचायत समिति सदस्य ने प्रखंड शिक्षा पदाधिकारी से इस मामले में हस्तक्षेप करने और विद्यालय के स्थानांतरण के आदेश को तत्काल रद्द करने का अनुरोध किया है। उन्होंने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि उनकी मांगों पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया, तो स्थानीय समुदाय और जनप्रतिनिधि मिलकर बड़े पैमाने पर आंदोलन करने को मजबूर होंगे।

In this regard, Panchayat Samiti member Santosh Kumar Paswan has submitted a memorandum to the Block Education Officer, demanding an immediate halt to the transfer. The memorandum highlights that Bakho Tol Urdu Middle School was established in 1952 and has been a crucial educational hub for children from the minority community.
Paswan further stated that the land for the school building was donated with the specific aim of providing education to minority children. He expressed concerns that transferring the school from its current location would disrupt the education of these children, potentially alienating them from the mainstream. He emphasized that the current location is safe and accessible, while a transfer would create significant difficulties for students. Local parents and residents believe the decision was made without public consultation, violating the right to education. Paswan has urged the Block Education Officer to intervene and cancel the transfer order, warning of widespread protests if their demands are not met.
