An attempted theft was reported near Bedhna Fourlane in Barh subdivision of Patna district. Unidentified thieves tried to break into a shop by cutting its shutter. However, the shop owner, Kripal Kumar Tiwari, was alerted by a neighbor and arrived at the scene, prompting the thieves to flee, leaving their tools behind.

Kripal Kumar Tiwari, a resident of Bedhna Jahilpur, stated that he had closed his shop and gone home around 1 AM. A neighbor, who works at a nearby CNG station, called him to report sparks and noises coming from his shop. Upon receiving the call, Tiwari immediately rushed to his shop. Seeing him approach, the thieves fled the scene. According to the shop owner, the thieves managed to escape with some cash from the till, but abandoned several tools they had brought for the theft.

The incident has caused concern among local shopkeepers. Barh police were informed and promptly arrived to inspect the crime scene. Station House Officer Brajkishore Singh confirmed that the police recovered a ladder, cutting machine, hammer, and other tools left behind by the thieves. Further action is being taken in the case, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the culprits.
