In Bathnaha, Sitamarhi district, 29 liters of seized Nepali Soufi liquor, confiscated in various cases, were destroyed on Tuesday. The action was carried out under the supervision of police and administrative officials, including Station House Officer Rupesh Kumar and Circle Officer Amresh Kumar, in accordance with legal procedures.

SHO Rupesh Kumar stated that this consignment of liquor was seized by the police in different cases within the police station area. After completing the judicial and administrative processes, the seized liquor was marked for destruction. On Tuesday, it was destroyed following the prescribed procedure. Several police officers and personnel were present at the police station premises during the operation.

Officials informed that the police are continuously conducting campaigns for the effective implementation of the prohibition law. Action is ongoing against the illegal manufacturing, sale, transportation, and storage of illicit liquor, and strict vigilance is being maintained over individuals involved in liquor smuggling cases. Circle Officer Amresh Kumar confirmed that the seized liquor was destroyed as per rules, emphasizing that the administration and police are continuously taking action to strictly enforce the prohibition law.
