Bathnaha: An intensive vehicle checking drive was conducted in the Bathnaha police station area of the district, following directives from Superintendent of Police Amit Ranjan, with the aim of controlling crime and strengthening law and order. Under the leadership of Station House Officer Rupesh Kumar, a police team set up a checkpoint near the Bathnaha police station on the main road, meticulously inspecting all small and large vehicles passing through.

This surprise action caused a stir among drivers operating vehicles without proper documents or in violation of traffic rules. The police team stopped two-wheelers and four-wheelers, thoroughly checking essential documents such as helmets, seat belts, driving licenses, vehicle registration, and pollution certificates. Additionally, vehicle trunks and boot spaces were searched to prevent the smuggling of illegal goods, weapons, or liquor. Suspicious individuals commuting on the main road were also closely monitored and interrogated.

SHO Rupesh Kumar stated that the primary objective of this special checking campaign is to curb the activities of anti-social elements and professional criminals in the area. He clarified that this drive would continue regularly in the future to maintain crime control and ensure public safety. The police administration has appealed to citizens to adhere to traffic rules and promptly report any suspicious activities.
