Good news for doctors in Bihar! The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released details for the application process for 575 vacant positions of Senior Resident and Tutor in government medical colleges and hospitals across Bihar. This recruitment, under the Health Department of the Government of Bihar, offers a three-year tenure for selected candidates with an attractive monthly salary of Rs 1.15 lakh.

The online registration process is set to commence on November 2, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply until 10 PM on November 23, 2026. The deadline for submitting the application fee is also November 23.

Applicants for these positions must possess a recognized postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS, DNB) or a relevant super-specialty qualification in the concerned subject or specialization. Age limits and other eligibility criteria will apply according to the post and category, with relaxations provided for reserved category candidates as per rules. However, candidates who have already completed a three-year Senior Resident/Tutor tenure in a particular subject will not be eligible to apply again for the same subject.

To apply, candidates must visit the official BCECEB website and click on the 'Senior Resident/Tutor 2026 Phase-III' online application link. New candidates will need to register first, then log in to fill out the application form. This involves providing personal, educational, and experience details, along with uploading a passport-sized photo and signature.
