A minor girl, who was abducted a few days ago from the Belsand police station area in Sitamarhi district, has been successfully rescued from Katihar. Police acted swiftly in the case, also apprehending the accused involved in the abduction. The incident occurred in the Belsand area when the minor suddenly disappeared from her home, prompting her family to file an abduction complaint at the local police station.

According to police sources, upon receiving the report of the minor's disappearance, Belsand police initiated a serious investigation. Based on technical surveillance and confidential information, the police learned that the abducted minor had been taken to Katihar. Subsequently, a special team from Belsand police departed for Katihar. With the cooperation of Katihar police, the team conducted a raid and safely recovered the minor.

The main accused in the abduction was also arrested from Katihar during this operation. The accused is currently being interrogated to ascertain the full motive behind the incident and identify any other potential individuals involved. The minor has been sent for a medical examination and will be handed over to her family thereafter. This successful rescue and arrest reiterate the Belsand police's commitment to maintaining law and order in the region. Further legal action is underway.
