The sixth death anniversary of former Union Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was observed at Samrat Ashok Bhawan in Belsand. The event, chaired by former chief Jainul Abedin, saw several significant demands raised unanimously. A prominent demand was to confer the 'Bharat Ratna' upon Raghuvansh Prasad Singh. Additionally, there was a call for the installation of his statue at the sub-divisional headquarters.

During the program, Thakur Dharmendra Singh shared his experiences with Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, stating that he had the opportunity to associate with him in 2018 and served as his election agent in the 2019 Vaishali elections. Singh also recounted that in his final moments, Raghuvansh Babu summoned him to Delhi, where, from an ICU bed, he penned a letter to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Bihar. In this letter, Singh expressed regret over not being able to complete certain tasks during his lifetime.

Specifically, the letter urged for the inclusion of agriculture under the MGNREGA scheme and demanded that wages for agricultural work be paid directly to farmers through MGNREGA. Dharmendra Singh lauded Raghuvansh Babu as a lifelong socialist, recalling his ideals and contributions. All attendees paid tribute to his memory and acknowledged his significant contributions.
