अशोक कुमार सिंह तेतरिया गांव के निवासी हैं और फिरंगी भंडारी के बेटे हैं। गोली मारने की सूचना मिलते ही सजौर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और घटना की विस्तृत जानकारी ली। हालांकि, पुलिस के अनुसार, घटनास्थल वास्तव में अमरपुर थाना क्षेत्र में आता है। अमरपुर थाना अध्यक्ष राकेश कुमार इस पूरे मामले की गहनता से जांच कर रहे हैं।

यह घटना तब हुई है जब करीब डेढ़ साल पहले, 23 मार्च 2025 को, अशोक कुमार सिंह के बेटे उत्तम कुमार को भी उनकी दुकान में घुसकर गोली मारी गई थी। उस घटना में उत्तम कुमार को सीने में गोली लगी थी, लेकिन पटना में इलाज के बाद उनकी जान बच गई थी। एक ही परिवार के दो सदस्यों पर इस तरह के हमले ने इलाके में दहशत का माहौल बना दिया है। पुलिस दोनों घटनाओं के बीच किसी संभावित संबंध की भी जांच कर रही है।
