Five Smugglers Arrested with 38 Kg Ganja in Bhagwanpur, Liquor Seized from House
भगवानपुर थाना पुलिस ने सोमवार को गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए एक यात्री बस से पांच गांजा तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया। इनके पास से 38 किलोग्राम गांजा बरामद किया गया है। गिरफ्तार तस्करों में तीन की उम्र 13 से 16 वर्ष के बीच है। यह बस जयनगर से पटना जा रही थी। गिरफ्तार तस्करों की पहचान विजय कुमार, गणेश पासवान, अक्षय भगत, राहुल कुमार और रितेश कुमार (सभी बिदुपुर निवासी), जबकि अंकित कुमार (पिता स्वर्गीय सोने लाल सिंह, जाफरपट्टी देसरी निवासी) के रूप में हुई है।
एक अन्य कार्रवाई में, पुलिस ने रविवार रात थाना क्षेत्र के विशुनपुर बांदे गांव में छापेमारी कर एक घर से चार कार्टून अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद की। इस दौरान एक धंधेबाज प्रकाश कुमार सिंह उर्फ कल्लू (पिता विशेश्वर सिंह, विशुनपुर बांदे निवासी) को भी गिरफ्तार किया गया। थानाध्यक्ष सत्येन्द्र कुमार सत्यार्थी ने बताया कि दोनों मामलों में प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर गिरफ्तार धंधेबाजों को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है। पुलिस नशीले पदार्थों के खिलाफ लगातार अभियान चला रही है।
Bhagwanpur police, acting on a tip-off on Monday, intercepted a passenger bus and arrested five individuals involved in drug smuggling. Authorities seized 38 kilograms of ganja from their possession. Notably, three of the arrested smugglers are juveniles, aged between 13 and 16 years. The bus was en route from Jaynagar to Patna. The arrested have been identified as Vijay Kumar, Ganesh Paswan, Akshay Bhagat, Rahul Kumar, and Ritesh Kumar, all residents of Bidupur, along with Ankit Kumar, son of late Sone Lal Singh, a resident of Jaferpatti Desri.
In a separate operation, police raided a house in Bishunpur Bande village within the police station area on Sunday night. They recovered four cartons of English liquor and apprehended one liquor peddler, Prakash Kumar Singh alias Kallu, son of Visheshwar Singh, a resident of Bishunpur Bande. Station House Officer Satyendra Kumar Satyarthi stated that First Information Reports have been registered in both cases, and the arrested individuals have been sent to judicial custody. The police are continuing their crackdown on illegal narcotics and liquor trade in the region.
