भैरोगंज के बागेश्वर नाथ शिव मंदिर में आरओ प्लांट बना शोपीस, श्रद्धालु शुद्ध पेयजल को तरस रहे

सावन के पवित्र महीने में कुशीनगर के पडरौना स्थित भैरोगंज के आजाद चौक पर स्थित बागेश्वर नाथ शिव मंदिर में हजारों श्रद्धालु जलाभिषेक के लिए पहुंच रहे हैं, लेकिन सुविधाओं के अभाव से उन्हें जूझना पड़ रहा है। लाखों की लागत से स्थापित आरओ प्लांट महीनों से बंद पड़ा है और केवल एक शोपीस बनकर रह गया है। यह आरओ प्लांट पडरौना प्रमुख की निधि से लगाया गया था।
सावन में प्रतिदिन सुबह से ही मंदिर में दर्शन और जलाभिषेक के लिए भक्तों की भारी भीड़ उमड़ती है, और सोमवारी के दिन यह संख्या 5 से 10 हजार तक पहुंच जाती है। भीषण गर्मी और उमस के बीच दर्शन करने आ रहे श्रद्धालुओं को शुद्ध पेयजल के लिए भटकना पड़ रहा है। मंदिर परिसर में लगा आरओ प्लांट खराब होने के कारण उसके नलों से पानी नहीं आ रहा है। ऐसे में श्रद्धालुओं को या तो हैंडपंप का सहारा लेना पड़ रहा है या दुकानों से बोतल बंद पानी खरीदना पड़ रहा है।
श्रद्धालु रामचंद्र गुप्ता, राकेश रौनियार, बृजेश मल्ल और बबलू पासवान ने इस स्थिति पर गहरी नाराजगी व्यक्त की है। उनका कहना है कि सरकार मंदिरों के सुंदरीकरण के बड़े-बड़े दावे करती है, लेकिन जमीनी हकीकत कुछ और ही है। उन्होंने मांग की कि सावन में इतनी बड़ी संख्या में भक्तों के आने पर कम से कम पीने के पानी की उचित व्यवस्था तो होनी ही चाहिए।
मंदिर के पुजारी ने बताया कि इस संबंध में कई बार संबंधित विभाग को जानकारी दी गई है, लेकिन अभी तक कोई कार्रवाई नहीं हुई है। स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप है कि प्रशासन ने सावन के लिए साफ-सफाई और प्रकाश की व्यवस्था तो की है, लेकिन शुद्ध पेयजल की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण सुविधा पर ध्यान नहीं दिया है। निवासियों ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि जल्द ही आरओ प्लांट को ठीक नहीं कराया गया, तो श्रद्धालुओं की परेशानी और बढ़ सकती है। इस मामले में पडरौना खंड विकास अधिकारी (बीडीओ) कमलेश कुमार राय ने अनभिज्ञता जताते हुए कहा कि जल्द ही मरम्मत कराकर आरओ प्लांट को चालू कराया जाएगा।
Thousands of devotees are flocking to the Bageshwar Nath Shiv Temple at Azad Chowk in Bhairoganj, Padrauna, Kushinagar, for 'jalabhishek' during the holy month of Sawan. However, they are facing significant inconvenience due to a lack of facilities. An RO plant, installed at a cost of lakhs of rupees with funds from the Padrauna Pramukh, has been non-functional for months and now stands merely as a showpiece.
During Sawan, the temple sees a huge influx of devotees from morning, with numbers reaching 5 to 10 thousand on Mondays. Amidst intense heat and humidity, pilgrims are struggling to find clean drinking water. The broken RO plant in the temple premises provides no water, forcing devotees to rely on hand pumps or purchase bottled water from shops.
Devotees like Ramchandra Gupta, Rakesh Rauniyar, Brijesh Mall, and Bablu Paswan have expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating that while the government claims to beautify temples, the ground reality is different. They demand that at least basic drinking water facilities should be available, given the large crowds during Sawan.
The temple priest informed that the concerned department has been notified multiple times, but no action has been taken. Local residents allege that while arrangements for cleanliness and lighting have been made for Sawan, the crucial provision of clean drinking water has been overlooked. They have warned that if the RO plant is not repaired soon, devotees' problems will escalate. Padrauna Block Development Officer (BDO) Kamlesh Kumar Rai, stating he was unaware of the issue, assured that the RO plant would be repaired and restarted soon.
