A serious road accident occurred on Monday on the Ara-Barhara main road in Bhojpur district, where a head-on collision between two motorcycles left five people injured, including a brother and sister. The incident took place near Keshopur Petrol Pump, under the Barhara police station jurisdiction. Among the injured are Vishal Kumar (18), son of Rambhu Paswan, his 15-year-old daughter Laxmi Kumari, and Khushi Kumari (15), daughter of Ramjivan Paswan, all residents of Mohanpur Karja village. Two other individuals riding on the second motorcycle were also injured.

Following the accident, local residents assisted in transporting the injured to the hospital. Vishal, Laxmi, and Khushi sustained serious injuries to their heads, legs, and arms. All three have been admitted to the Sadar Hospital, Ara, for treatment in the emergency ward. The other two injured individuals are receiving treatment at a private hospital.

Rambhu Paswan stated that his son Vishal, daughter Laxmi, and niece Khushi Kumari were on their way from home to Bakhorapur Temple for worship when the collision occurred with another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. Police are investigating the incident.
