Amidst claims of development in Badaun, a grim picture of neglect has emerged from Bhura Bhadrauli village in Kadar Chowk block. The main road of the village has turned into a muddy mire due to waterlogging. Even light rain fills the entire street with water, making it difficult for villagers to commute. The most severe impact of this poor condition is borne by innocent children and patients.

Children going to the primary school located near this street often fall in the mud and get injured, ruining their uniforms and books. Meanwhile, patients, pregnant women, and the elderly face immense difficulty reaching the health center situated at the main end of the street. Ambulances and other vehicles are completely unable to reach this point.

Local residents have expressed deep anger over the deplorable condition of the road. Annu Sharma stated that even a little rain floods the street, almost stopping children from going to school. According to Raju Mathur, despite a health center being nearby, people hesitate to go for medicine fearing accidents. Vijay Mathur expressed concern that waterlogging is increasing the risk of diseases, but the administration remains silent on their pleas. Vijay Thakur highlighted that children and the elderly are the most affected by the lack of a basic road.

Manoj Mathur has warned that if a paved road and drainage system are not provided soon, the villagers will be forced to protest. Residents of Bhura Bhadrauli village have urged the District Magistrate to take immediate notice of this important road connecting the primary school and the health center and to initiate construction work promptly.
