Bihar is set to initiate a large-scale recruitment drive for Anganwadi Sevika and Sahayika positions, with a total of 22,891 vacancies. This recruitment will be conducted under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Bihar. The state government has already approved new guidelines for the selection of Anganwadi Sevika and Sahayika. However, detailed district-wise advertisements and official application dates are yet to be released.

Out of the total 22,891 posts, 6,141 are proposed for Sevika and 16,750 for Sahayika. The tentative educational qualification for Sevika posts is 12th pass, and for Sahayika posts, it is 10th pass, though final qualifications will be confirmed in the district-wise advertisements.

Local women candidates will be given priority in the recruitment process. The condition of being a local resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat in rural areas and the concerned ward in urban areas may apply. A domicile certificate will be mandatory. Special preference might be given to widows, divorced women, and women from BPL families in the selection process. Age limits and other eligibility criteria will be applied as per official rules, with provisions for age relaxation for reserved categories.

Candidates are advised to await the official announcement for the commencement of applications and not to rely on information from unauthorized websites or social media posts. The application process may be released district-wise, so candidates should prioritize official notifications from their respective districts.
