Widespread student protests rocked Bihar, with significant unrest reported in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Begusarai, Arrah, and Siwan. Clashes between protesters and police, including stone-pelting incidents, occurred at several locations, necessitating police intervention to control the situation. The statewide bandh (strike) saw a mixed impact across various districts.

In Patna, police resorted to lathi-charge against students protesting at the prominent Dakbangla Square, leading to the detention of several demonstrators. RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav also joined the movement, arriving at Gandhi Maidan with a large number of party workers. He waved the national flag near the Ambedkar statue in protest, though he later moved towards Exhibition Road due to the heavy police presence.

Siwan's Gandhi Maidan also witnessed violent clashes, where protesters pelted stones at the administration. Police used lathi-charge to disperse the agitated crowd. In Gopalganj, youths protested at Ambedkar Chowk, raising various issues including demands for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The protests also condemned the lathi-charge incident at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Internet services were partially disrupted in Gopalganj during the demonstrations. In Begusarai, AISA activists blocked NH-31 for an hour, after which the protesting students were taken into police custody.
