Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has announced the construction of a Love-Kush Park in Valmikinagar, estimated to cost ₹60 crore. The announcement was made during the Love-Kush Samman Samaroh (Honor Ceremony) held at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna, where CM Chaudhary shared the stage with Health Minister Nishant Kumar, RLM Chief Upendra Kushwaha, and Minister Shravan Kumar. The event was seen as a show of strength by the Love-Kush community.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary stated that the Love-Kush community has been united since 1994 and remains so in 2026. He emphasized that the community is not against anyone, but aims to advance with justice and uphold its glorious history. He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Developed India' and former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's 'Prosperous Bihar', highlighting the necessity of participation from all sections of society for Bihar's development.

Chaudhary also referenced the epic tale of Love and Kush, recalling their courage in standing before Lord Ram to defend their mother Sita's honor. He asserted that they are descendants of a tradition where Lord Ram accepted 14 years of exile to uphold righteousness.

Health Minister Nishant Kumar described the event as a meaningful effort to identify, honor, and encourage Bihar's talented youth. He stressed that with proper opportunities and encouragement, Bihar's children and youth can excel in all fields. Kumar also acknowledged the Love-Kush community's distinct identity and their achievements across various sectors through education and hard work. He mentioned Nitish Kumar's inclusive development philosophy, which prioritizes empowering youth to strengthen Bihar and, by extension, the nation.

Posters for the event were displayed across Patna, notably outside the BJP office. Although Nitish Kumar was featured as the inaugurator on the posters, he did not attend the ceremony, though several JDU ministers and leaders were present.
