The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Monday released the results for the DElEd (Face to Face) First Year (2025-2027 session) and Second Year (2024-26 session) examinations. Board Chairman Dr. Tyagarajan SM announced that 32,167 candidates appeared for the first year exam, with 30,689 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 95.40%. For the second year, 30,939 candidates appeared, and 29,559 passed, achieving a pass percentage of 95.53%.

The results are available on where candidates can download their scorecards by entering their roll code and roll number. Prior to the results being declared, candidates from various districts staged a protest outside the BSEB office, demanding the immediate release of DElEd results and mark sheets. Their primary concern was that the pending results were preventing them from applying for the BPSC TRE-4 teacher recruitment drive. Mark sheets, provisional certificates, and degrees are mandatory for TRE-4, and without these, even qualified candidates could miss out on the recruitment process.

A delegation of students met with Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari to present their demands, and the minister assured them of a prompt decision in the students' interest. Despite the results being released in the afternoon, candidates continued their protest outside the board office late into the evening, demanding the issuance of mark sheets and degrees. They argued that without these certificates, the results were of no benefit. Board officials have assured students that the documents will be issued soon. The application process for TRE 4.0 commenced on September 25, and the delay in results had threatened to disenfranchise thousands of eligible DElEd trainees.
