Amidst the festive season in Bihar, farmers are eagerly awaiting the next installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. They are particularly looking forward to the 24th installment (PM Kisan 24th Installment 2026). While there has been no official announcement from the central government regarding the release date, there is widespread anticipation that 2,000 rupees might be credited to farmers' bank accounts before Diwali. However, the exact payment date and the likelihood of the amount being released before Diwali have not been officially confirmed.

The PM-KISAN scheme, launched in 2019, aims to provide financial assistance to eligible farmers to meet their agricultural needs. Under this scheme, eligible farmer families receive an annual financial aid of 6,000 rupees, disbursed in three equal installments of 2,000 rupees each, directly into the beneficiaries' bank accounts.
