Good news for farmers in Bihar! The state government has decided to offer significant subsidies on 86 types of agricultural implements under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme. The primary objective of this scheme is to enhance farmers' income and boost agricultural production by providing them with modern farming equipment. Farmers can now avail subsidies on various implements such as tractors, rotavators, seed drills, cultivators, power tillers, and other advanced tools.

The Agriculture Department has initiated the application process for this scheme. Interested farmers can apply online through the official website of the Agriculture Department. Essential documents required for application include Aadhaar card, bank passbook, land documents, and a passport-sized photograph. To avail the subsidy, farmers must first purchase the equipment and then apply. Upon successful verification, the subsidy amount will be directly transferred to their bank accounts. This initiative aims to reduce farming costs and increase productivity, thereby giving a new direction to the agricultural sector in Bihar.
