A major controversy has erupted over the recruitment process for various posts in the Bihar Legislative Council. Serious questions are being raised about assigning the responsibility for the recruitment process to CS Datamation Research Services Pvt. Ltd. It is alleged that a sensitive examination and selection process was entrusted to an agency with a questionable past record and operational history. This situation has brought the Legislative Council's recruitment system under scrutiny.

Amidst this dispute, the shorthand proficiency test for seven selected candidates for Personal Assistant positions is also in focus. These candidates were scheduled to appear for the exam on November 4th, but none showed up. Following this, the Council Secretariat decided to give them another opportunity. The shorthand test for these seven candidates will now be held on November 18, 2026. The administration has clarified that candidates who fail to appear this time may have their candidacies terminated, putting their jobs at risk.

Furthermore, due to suspicions of irregularities in the recruitment, more than 100 newly selected personnel have reportedly been barred from entering the Legislative Council premises. Investigations are also underway into appointments made for various positions. This has cast a shadow of uncertainty over the jobs of approximately 125 newly recruited employees.

The role of the agency, the selection process, and questions related to the appointments are currently under investigation. Information regarding the November 18th examination has been released on the Council's official website.
