The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the official notification for the 'School Librarian Eligibility Test 2026' (BSEB LET), announcing a large-scale recruitment drive for 5800 librarian positions across Bihar. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online from October 1, 2026, to October 21, 2026. Applications will be accepted through the official website .

The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between November 19 and December 10, 2026. It will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, totaling 150 marks. A key feature of this exam is the absence of negative marking. Candidates will be allotted 150 minutes to complete the test.

Regarding educational qualifications, applicants must hold a Graduation degree in Library Science. A minimum of 45% marks is required for general category candidates, while reserved categories, persons with disabilities, and women candidates need 40% marks. The minimum age limit is 21 years, with a provision for a 10-year relaxation in the maximum age as per rules.
