The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released a notification for the 'School Librarian Eligibility Test 2026' (BSEB LET), announcing the application dates. Applications for this eligibility test will commence on October 1st and conclude on October 21st, 2026. Interested candidates will only be able to apply online through the official website , which has been launched by the board.

According to information provided by the BSEB, all categories of candidates will receive an additional 10-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for this examination. The test will be conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, featuring 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be allotted two and a half hours (150 minutes) to complete the paper, and there will be no negative marking.

While the application dates have been announced, the board has not yet declared the examination dates. These are expected to be announced either along with the notification or subsequently. This eligibility test is a crucial step for recruitment to librarian positions in government schools across Bihar, and the age relaxation is anticipated to benefit many aspirants.
