A shocking incident has emerged from Bihar's Nawada district, where a man allegedly dragged his girlfriend for about 100 meters on his motorbike after she insisted on marriage. The incident, which occurred in Rajgir, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media. The accused man is reportedly employed as an Amin (land surveyor) in Nardiganj, Nawada district.

According to reports, the couple had been in a relationship for approximately five years. A few days prior, the man had met his girlfriend in Rajgir. During their meeting, the woman pressed him to marry her and formalize their relationship. This led to an argument between them. As the dispute escalated, the man started his motorcycle and attempted to leave. When the woman tried to stop him, he allegedly accelerated, causing her to be dragged along the road for about 100 meters. The viral video shows the woman pleading for help as she is dragged.

After some distance, the bike lost balance, and both fell. Another argument ensued, attracting a crowd of onlookers who apprehended the man. To evade the crowd's anger, the man claimed the woman was his wife and that it was a domestic dispute, attempting to mislead the public. However, a police investigation revealed that it was not a marital dispute but rather a conflict related to marriage demands.

Rajgir Police Station इंचार्ज अभिजीत कुमार confirmed that preliminary investigations indicate the accused is a government Amin. The woman has filed a written complaint at Nardiganj Police Station in Nawada district. Police have initiated an investigation, and the viral video is part of the evidence. Further legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
