विज्ञान और गणित में विद्यार्थियों की प्रतिभा को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से बिहार सरकार द्वारा श्रीनिवास रामानुजन टैलेंट सर्च टेस्ट इन मैथमेटिक्स-2026 और सर सीवी रमन टैलेंट सर्च टेस्ट इन साइंस-2027 के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण शुरू हो गया है। इस प्रतियोगिता में राज्य के सरकारी और निजी विद्यालयों में कक्षा छह से 12वीं तक के विद्यार्थी हिस्सा ले सकेंगे।
यह प्रतियोगिता विज्ञान, प्रावैधिकी एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा विभाग, बिहार सरकार तथा बिहार काउंसिल ऑन साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी, पटना के तत्वावधान में राष्ट्रीय गणित दिवस-2026 और राष्ट्रीय विज्ञान दिवस-2027 के अवसर पर आयोजित की जा रही है। ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 18 नवंबर 2026 निर्धारित की गई है। विद्यार्थी 22 नवंबर तक अपना प्रवेश पत्र डाउनलोड कर सकेंगे, और परीक्षा 24, 25 और 26 नवंबर को संभावित है।
प्रतियोगिता में राज्य स्तर पर प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को लैपटॉप, मेडल और प्रशस्ति-पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया जाएगा। वहीं, जिला स्तर पर प्रथम और द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को क्रमशः पांच हजार और तीन हजार रुपये की नकद पुरस्कार राशि के साथ मेडल एवं प्रशस्ति-पत्र दिए जाएंगे। तीसरे से दसवें स्थान तक के विद्यार्थियों को भी पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा।
प्रत्येक परीक्षा में 25 वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रश्न पूछे जाएंगे। प्रत्येक सही उत्तर के लिए चार अंक मिलेंगे, जबकि गलत उत्तर देने पर एक अंक की कटौती होगी। परीक्षा राज्य के सभी जिलों में स्थित राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालयों और राजकीय पॉलिटेक्निक संस्थानों में ऑनलाइन माध्यम से आयोजित की जाएगी। राजकीय अभियंत्रण महाविद्यालय, अरवल के प्राचार्य डॉ. प्रणव कुमार और महाविद्यालय के मीडिया प्रभारी प्रो. संतोष कुमार ने जिले के विद्यार्थियों से अधिक से अधिक संख्या में भाग लेने की अपील की है, ताकि वे अपनी प्रतिभा को राज्य स्तर पर प्रदर्शित कर सकें।
Online registration has commenced for the Srinivasa Ramanujan Talent Search Test in Mathematics-2026 and Sir C.V. Raman Talent Search Test in Science-2027. This initiative by the Bihar government aims to encourage students' talent in science and mathematics. Students from classes 6 to 12, studying in government and private schools across the state, are eligible to participate.
Organized under the aegis of the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Government of Bihar, and the Bihar Council on Science and Technology, Patna, these tests coincide with National Mathematics Day-2026 and National Science Day-2027. The deadline for online applications is November 18, 2026. Admit cards will be available for download until November 22, and the examinations are tentatively scheduled for November 24, 25, and 26.
State-level winners securing the first, second, and third positions will be awarded laptops, medals, and certificates of appreciation. District-level first and second-place holders will receive cash prizes of Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively, along with medals and certificates. Students ranking from third to tenth at the district level will also be felicitated.
Each test will consist of 25 objective questions, with four marks for every correct answer and a deduction of one mark for each incorrect response. The examinations will be conducted online at Government Engineering Colleges and Polytechnic Institutes across all districts of Bihar. Dr. Pranav Kumar, Principal of Government Engineering College, Arwal, has urged students to participate in large numbers to showcase their scientific and mathematical aptitude.
