Good news for students who applied for the Bihar Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 sessions. The Bihar government has released the scholarship amount directly into the bank accounts of all eligible students via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). This payment was initiated in March.

Students who applied online between August 25, 2025, and December 25, 2025, and were awaiting payment, can now check their payment status online. To ascertain the scholarship status, applicants need to visit the official website, . They can log in there and check the status of their application.

If any student has not yet received the scholarship benefits, they should first check their application status on the portal. Additionally, they must ensure that their bank account is active and linked with DBT. If the DBT is not linked, they should contact their bank as soon as possible to link it, enabling them to receive the scholarship amount. This initiative aims to support students from economically weaker and backward sections of the state in pursuing higher education.
