Eligibility criteria mandate CTET Paper-1 or BTET Paper-1 for classes 1-5, CTET Paper-2 or BTET Paper-2 for classes 6-8, STET Paper-1 for secondary school teachers, and STET Paper-2 for higher secondary school teachers. The maximum age limit is 37 years, with relaxations for reserved categories: 40 years for OBC/EBC (male & female) and unreserved female candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST (male & female) candidates.
