Shravan Kumar Rishi, a resident of Garhbanaili under Mohani Panchayat in Kasba Police Station area of Purnia district, has died in a factory accident in Andhra Pradesh. He is the sixth victim of this tragic incident. Shravan Kumar Rishi's family has leveled serious allegations against the factory contractor, claiming that the accident occurred due to the contractor's negligence and disregard for worker safety.

According to the family, Shravan Kumar Rishi had gone to Andhra Pradesh about six months ago for work, seeking to improve his family's financial condition. Recently, a gas leak incident at a factory in Andhra Pradesh severely injured several laborers, including Shravan Kumar. He was immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment but succumbed to his severe injuries late on Friday night.

Following this devastating news, a pall of gloom has descended upon Garhbanaili village. Shravan Kumar was the sole breadwinner for his family, and his demise has left them in profound distress. The family stated that the contractor had given them false assurances and failed to provide adequate safety measures. They are demanding strict action against the contractor and appealing to the government for compensation. Local administration has assured to take cognizance of the matter and initiate an investigation.
