Blinkit delivery partners staged a protest on Saturday near the Blinkit store at Gariban Chowk in Kishanganj city, demanding payment for their outstanding dues. They allege that they have not received payment for 8 to 10 days of offline work, which they had recorded in a register. The delivery partners have been visiting the store for the past two months in pursuit of their unpaid wages.

The store management informed the protestors that offline work payments would not be processed from their end and advised them to contact the former manager, who has since been transferred to Bhagalpur. Current Blinkit store manager Sonu Kumar clarified that the company only pays for online deliveries, not offline work. He stated that the delivery partners were unaware of this company policy and accused the previous manager of misleading them.

The delivery partners also raised another serious concern, stating that trucks delivering company goods are often parked on the road, obstructing traffic and inconveniencing local residents. Furthermore, the noise from unloading trucks throughout the night disturbs the sleep of local residents. According to the delivery partners, the company lacks proper parking facilities, forcing vehicles to be unloaded on the street.
