Bodhgaya: A theft incident has been reported at Primary School Rasulganj, located in the Cherki police station area. The headmaster of the school, Dhananjay Kumar, has filed an FIR against unknown thieves at Cherki police station.

According to the headmaster, when he arrived at the school around 9 AM on Saturday, the main door was locked. Upon opening the lock and entering, he discovered that two ceiling fans, a wall clock, an electric board, two bulbs, a tube light, and five registers were missing from one of the rooms. Following the discovery, locals were questioned, but no leads were found.

The headmaster's application requests the police to investigate the matter, recover the stolen items, and apprehend the culprits. Purchase bills for the stolen items were also attached to the application. Cherki police have registered the case and initiated an investigation.

In related news, theft incidents are also on the rise in the Gurua police station area. On Friday night, unknown thieves targeted two houses in Fesra village, Raghunath Khap Panchayat, making off with property worth lakhs of rupees. Villagers reported that thieves stole Rs 12,000 cash and jewelry worth approximately Rs 1.5 lakh from Kedar Yadav's house, and Rs 5,000 cash from Ishwar Yadav's house. The thefts were discovered in the morning when a box and suitcase were found discarded in a field. Villagers suspect that the thieves might have used sedatives. Gurua police have visited the scene and begun their investigation. Just three days prior, four houses in Naudiha village were also robbed.
