According to the BPSC's new directive, candidates who clear their D.El.Ed exams in 2026 can complete their application process by uploading a web copy of their mark sheet. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 33,320 teaching positions in government schools across Bihar.

This decision provides considerable relief to D.El.Ed candidates from the 2024-26 training session. While they can upload a web copy of their mark sheet, applicants are strongly advised to thoroughly review the official notification on the commission's website and verify the educational qualifications required for the specific post they are applying for. It is important to note that merely possessing a D.El.Ed qualification may not suffice for all teaching positions, as other academic qualifications and teacher eligibility test conditions will also apply depending on the post.

Initially, the BPSC TRE 4.0 recruitment drive was announced for 32,388 posts. However, an additional 932 positions have since been added, bringing the total number of vacancies to 33,320. These newly added posts are specifically for teachers of classes 9 to 10 and classes 11 to 12.

The online application process for BPSC TRE 4.0 commenced on September 25, 2026. The deadline for submitting online applications is October 26, 2026, while the last date for submitting the application fee is October 25, 2026. The general application fee is ₹100, which can be paid online.
