The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of 65 Police Company Commander posts in Bihar. The online application process for these positions commenced on September 10 and will conclude on October 10. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official BPSSC website.

To be eligible, candidates must be at least 24 years old and not more than 50 years old as of August 10, 2026. Additionally, applicants are required to possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution or equivalent qualifications.

The selection process will comprise a preliminary examination, a main examination, and a physical efficiency test. The preliminary examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, carrying a total of 200 marks. The duration of this exam will be 2 hours, and candidates securing a minimum of 30% marks will be shortlisted for the main examination.

A uniform application fee of Rs. 100 has been set for all categories of candidates. A total of 65 Police Company Commanders will be selected through this recruitment drive. The category-wise distribution of posts is as follows: General - 27, SC - 10, ST - 1, Extremely Backward Class - 11, Backward Class - 8, EWS - 6, and Backward Class Women - 2.
