BRA Bihar University (BRABU) has decided to conduct a special examination for promoted students of Part One, Two, and Three of the three-year undergraduate course (TDC). This significant decision was made during a meeting of the examination board chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Chandra Rai. With the implementation of the four-year CBCS undergraduate course from the 2023-27 session, this special examination will provide a final opportunity for promoted students of the old three-year course (last session 2022-25) to improve their results.

The university will seek necessary guidance from the Raj Bhavan for organizing this special examination. Once approval is received, the examination schedule will be released.

The examination board also took a strong stance on the increasing problem of pending results in undergraduate and postgraduate examinations. To facilitate students and provide a permanent solution to this issue, a high-level committee will be formed. This committee will be chaired by the Proctor and will include Deputy Controller Dr. Bipul Barnwal and key personnel from the examination department. The committee's role will be to expedite the resolution of pending results and establish a transparent system to prevent future errors.

Important decisions were also made regarding degree distribution. Examination Controller Dr. Arvind Kumar stated that the final proposal, along with a copy of the Raj Bhavan circular for special examinations, will be presented in the next meeting. All pending degree applications will be processed 100%, and original degrees will be sent directly to the respective colleges. Furthermore, it was agreed that degrees applied for by students would be prepared within a stipulated timeframe, ensuring timely delivery to the students.
