Sanjay Kumar Singh of Brahampur, who has been continuously serving to save the lives of injured, sick, and helpless people in road accidents, was honored with the Good Samaritan Award for the fifth time at Qila Maidan, Buxar, on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day. He received this honor from the District Magistrate (DM), Superintendent of Police (SP), a minister, and MLA Anand Mishra.

For the past three years, Sanjay Kumar Singh has been consistently transporting needy patients and road accident victims to hospitals through his 'Maa Maheshwari Free Ambulance Service'. His ambulance service provides free transportation for patients not only in Buxar but also to Ara, Patna, and Varanasi. Upon receiving information about a road accident, he rushes to help without any discrimination and plays a vital role in saving lives by getting the injured to the hospital on time. His selfless service is an inspiration to society.
