Buxar Police have successfully apprehended three members of an interstate vehicle theft gang. The arrested individuals include Rahul Yadav and Santosh Yadav from Ghazipur district, Uttar Pradesh, and Awadhesh Yadav from Brahampur police station area in Buxar district. The arrests were made in the Buxar Nagar police station area. Police recovered high-tech equipment, a stolen motorcycle, and 10,000 rupees in cash from their possession.

The gang members even demonstrated their theft technique in front of the police. They opened a Scorpio parked in the Nagar police station premises without a key, using a high-tech machine, astonishing police officials. This demonstration highlighted their expertise and the advanced technology they employed.

Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar stated that this gang was involved in vehicle thefts across various districts of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, primarily targeting SUVs like Scorpio and Bolero. The arrested individuals were found with several high-tech machines containing codes to start vehicle engines, allowing them to easily start keyless vehicles.

During interrogation, the thieves confessed to several other incidents and provided crucial information about other gang members. Police are now conducting raids based on this information to apprehend the remaining members. The SP expressed hope that these arrests would lead to a reduction in vehicle theft incidents, marking a significant achievement for the Buxar Police.
