On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan in Jehanabad, children from Gurudev Academy visited Ghosi Police Station and tied Rakhis to police officers and personnel. During this event, the police presented plants to the children, conveying a message of environmental protection. The children tied Rakhis on the wrists of the police personnel, symbolizing the bond of love and the pledge of protection between siblings.

They emphasized that just as a brother pledges to protect his sister, the police are always ready to ensure the safety of the community. DSP Anjali Kumar stated that on Raksha Bandhan, police personnel and officers across various police stations in the district are celebrating the festival with children. The main objective is to foster better relations between the police and the general public. During the program, children were informed about various activities within the police station premises and educated on how the police serve society and work to protect people in emergencies. Gifts were also distributed to the children on this occasion.

Police officers gifted each child a plant and explained the importance of tree plantation and environmental conservation. They highlighted the increasing impacts of climate change, deforestation, and environmental pollution. They explained that issues like irregular rainfall and rising temperatures are consequences of environmental imbalance, stressing the need to plant more trees and care for them. Station House Officer Shailesh Kumar honored the children with toffees and plants.
