Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee Vice President Mohammad Saud Alam met with Congress Rajya Sabha MP and renowned poet Imran Pratapgarhi. During their meeting, Saud Alam extended an invitation to Pratapgarhi to visit the Pranpur assembly constituency. He welcomed Pratapgarhi with a bouquet of flowers.

Saud Alam stated that Imran Pratapgarhi's visit to Pranpur would boost the morale of Congress workers and strengthen the party. In response, Pratapgarhi smiled and said he would definitely come if it was in his destiny to have tea there.

In a separate incident reported alongside this news, Sikchal Sah, a representative of the Panchayat Samiti member, was attacked by miscreants near Kumhla village in the Kadwa police station area. He was injured in the assault and was taken by local residents to the Durgaganj Community Health Center. Doctors referred him to Purnia for better treatment. It is alleged that the attackers fled after snatching a gold chain, a mobile phone, and 11,000 rupees in cash. The police are investigating the matter.
