जब्त की गई शराब की मात्रा और उसका बाजार मूल्य दर्शाता है कि यह एक संगठित गिरोह का काम हो सकता है। पुलिस ने मौके से भारी मात्रा में विदेशी और देसी शराब की बोतलें बरामद की हैं, जिनकी कुल कीमत 8 लाख रुपये से अधिक बताई जा रही है। जब्त शराब को फिलहाल पुलिस थाने में रखा गया है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि फरार तस्करों की पहचान करने और उन्हें जल्द से जल्द गिरफ्तार करने के लिए विशेष टीमें गठित की गई हैं। आसपास के इलाकों में भी छापेमारी की जा रही है और मुखबिरों से जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है। उन्होंने यह भी दोहराया कि शराबबंदी कानून को सख्ती से लागू किया जाएगा और किसी भी कीमत पर अवैध शराब के धंधे को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। इस कार्रवाई से जिले में शराब तस्करों के बीच हड़कंप मच गया है।
