An auction of vehicles seized by the Excise Department was held on Tuesday at the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Auditorium located in the Darbhanga Collectorate. The process, which continued till late evening, saw a large number of buyers from various districts of Bihar participating and bidding enthusiastically for the vehicles. A total of 57 vehicles, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, auto-rickshaws, pickups, four-wheelers, and trucks, were put up for auction.

Excise Department official Pradeep Kumar stated that the entire auction process was conducted transparently. People from several districts of Bihar, including Darbhanga, Samastipur, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, and Patna, came to participate in the auction. Successful bidders are required to deposit the auction amount within the stipulated time frame. After the amount is submitted, all necessary formalities will be completed, and the ownership of the respective vehicles will be transferred to their names.

Pradeep Kumar also informed that the next auction of seized vehicles will be held on July 30. He appealed to interested individuals to arrive on time and participate in the auction process, adhering to the prescribed rules.
