Darbhanga. In the Bihar Legislative Council's graduate constituency election held on Friday, 443 graduate voters exercised their franchise in Gaura Bauram block. The polling concluded peacefully. Out of a total of 679 graduate voters in Gaura Bauram, 443 cast their ballots. The presiding officer reported that 352 male voters and 91 female voters participated, resulting in a voter turnout of approximately 65.24%.

Simultaneously, in the teacher's constituency election, 26 voters cast their votes. Despite the lower number of voters in the teacher's constituency, enthusiasm was observed at the polling station. The administration had made stringent security arrangements at the polling centers.

In Kirtpur block, 217 voters exercised their franchise at the graduate polling station, while seven voters cast their ballots for the teacher's constituency. The BDO and CO continuously inspected the polling centers, ensuring that the voting process proceeded smoothly.
