A tragic road accident in Darbhanga district has claimed the life of a young man. The incident occurred on NH-57 within the Mabbhi OP (Outpost) area, where an unidentified vehicle ran over a bike rider. The deceased has been identified as Rahul Sahni (22), son of Ramnath Sahni, a resident of Laxmisagar, under the Laheriasarai police station jurisdiction. Rahul was reportedly on his way to his in-laws' house, located approximately 8 kilometers from his home, to fetch jackfruit when the accident took place.

According to reports, Rahul Sahni was traveling on his bike late Monday night when an unknown vehicle struck him with great force on NH-57 in the Mabbhi OP area. The collision was so severe that Rahul sustained critical injuries and died on the spot. Local residents gathered at the scene upon hearing the news.

Upon receiving information, a team from Mabbhi OP arrived at the scene. The police took custody of the body and sent it to Darbhanga Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for post-mortem examination. Rahul's family was informed of the tragedy, leading to an outpouring of grief. The family members are in deep shock and mourning. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident, with efforts underway to identify and apprehend the driver of the unknown vehicle.
