Darpa's Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Sakshi Kumari conducted a surprise inspection of the University Police Station on Saturday. During her visit, she meticulously examined various registers maintained at the station and instructed officials to keep them regularly updated. The SP also inspected the police station premises, assessing cleanliness and other operational arrangements.

Following the inspection, the Rural SP held a crucial meeting with the University Police Station in-charge and all investigating officers. In this meeting, she thoroughly reviewed the pending cases registered at the station. Several essential directives were issued to the investigating officers for the expedited resolution of these long-standing cases. The SP emphasized ensuring high-quality investigations, regularly updating case diaries, and setting monthly targets for case disposal to ensure timely completion.

Furthermore, instructions were given to take effective action for the arrest of absconding accused and to secure warrants and attachment orders from the court as necessary to ensure arrests. The Rural SP directed police officers to intensify patrolling in the police station area and remain vigilant to control crime. She also issued directives regarding maintaining cleanliness within the police station premises and strengthening the security arrangements of the lockup. The meeting was attended by the University Police Station in-charge and all concerned police officers and investigating officers of the station.
