Educators and Sanskrit scholars have expressed joy over the Bihar government's approval of the proposed MoU between Oxford Sanskrit Text Society and Mithila Sanskrit Research Institute. Dr. Mitranath Jha, former Head of the Manuscript Department at the institute, stated that this partnership will introduce the Western world to Mithila's rich knowledge tradition and pave the way for the preservation, study, and development of manuscripts. Prof. Jaishankar Jha, Vice President of Maa Shyama Mandir Nyas Samiti, thanked Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Jha for this long-term academic collaboration, expressing confidence that the Mithila Sanskrit Research Institute, established by Maharajadhiraj, will set new benchmarks in higher education and research. Dr. Santosh Kumar Paswan, Head of the Postgraduate Literature Department at the Sanskrit University, welcomed the Bihar government's swift decision, calling it a reflection of the government's perspective on the Sanskrit language and Indian knowledge tradition. Educationist Dr. Shivkishore Rai noted the far-reaching impact of this academic partnership in the era of Digital India.

Simultaneously, an induction and orientation program was organized for newly admitted students of the 2026-28 session in the Department of Education at Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Lakshmi Niwas Pandey, the chief guest, encouraged the new students, stating that mere theoretical or subject-specific knowledge is insufficient today. To become a successful and effective teacher, a blend of practical training, modern teaching skills, technical proficiency, moral values, and Indian knowledge tradition is essential. Prof. Pandey emphasized that training Sanskrit students according to modern educational methods and preparing them for contemporary societal expectations is a demand of the present time. He guided students towards becoming excellent teachers through regular study, discipline, and continuous practice. Dr. Nishikant, the university's Public Relations Officer, informed that this orientation program marked the formal commencement of regular academic activities for the new students. The event was attended by administrative officials and senior professors, including Dean Dr. Purendra Warik, Registrar Dr. Dinesh Jha, Finance Officer Dr. Pawan Kumar Jha, and Director of Education Dr. Ghanshyam Mishra, alongside many students.
